Luxury Bathroom Faucets, Designed and Handmade in Italy
MaestroBath makes luxury bathroom faucets for people who notice the
difference between a fixture and a piece of design. Every faucet in this collection is
produced in Italy in lead-free brass, finished by hand, and built to carry the weight and
the temperature of a real object rather than a plated shell. This is the full range,
covering single hole, widespread and wall mount bathroom faucets across our Prestigio,
Exclusiva and Inlinea lines.
Choosing by installation type
The first decision is not the finish. It is how many holes your sink or countertop
already has, because that determines what will fit.
-
Single hole bathroom faucets. One spout, one lever, one hole. The
cleanest look and the easiest installation, and the right choice for most modern vessel
sinks. Tall versions such as the IKON and Skip Diamond are made specifically to clear
the rim of a vessel basin.
-
3 hole and widespread bathroom faucets. A center spout with separate
hot and cold handles set apart from it. The classic arrangement, and the one that suits a
wider countertop or a more formal room. Our Royal, Fioritura, Etereo and Kyros faucets
are built this way.
-
Wall mount bathroom faucets. The spout and handles mount into the
wall above the basin, leaving the counter completely clear. This is the most dramatic
option and the one designers reach for with a sculptural vessel sink. The Ice, Cubo,
Miraggio and Glamour wall mount faucets sit here.
Finishes
Finish is where a bathroom faucet stops being plumbing and starts being decoration.
Across this collection you will find polished chrome, polished
gold, brushed gold, matte black, brushed
nickel, polished nickel, rose gold, white, and
our warm Tabacco finish. Polished chrome and polished gold are the two most widely stocked,
so those are the safest choices if you need to match other fittings later.
Materials, and what actually goes into the body
Most of the range is solid lead-free brass, which is heavier than the
zinc alloy used in mass-market faucets and is what allows a finish to be applied properly
rather than sprayed on. Above that sit two smaller groups worth knowing about:
-
Crystal and brass. Faucets with cut crystal bodies or handles,
including the Swarovski crystal pieces. These are the most decorative fixtures we make.
-
Semi precious stone handles. A group of faucets whose handles are cut
from real stone: Malachite, Tiger Eye, Lapis Lazuli, Labradorite, Red Jasper, Black
Obsidian, Chevron Amethyst, Abalone, and Mother of Pearl in grey and white. Because the
stone is natural, no two handles are identical.
How to narrow it down
Start with the hole configuration your sink requires, since that is fixed. Choose the
height next, because a vessel sink needs a tall faucet and an undermount or drop in basin
needs a standard one. Then pick the finish, and only then look at the decorative options.
Working in that order means everything you shortlist will actually fit.
Every faucet here is made by MaestroBath rather than bought in and rebadged, which is
why we can talk about the brass, the stone and the crystal with confidence. If you cannot
find the finish you want on a piece you like, contact us. A large part of what we make is
produced to order.
